Good afternoon we are in back of Zoom it’s a city  in North bent province of the Netherlands and we   are about 2 hours away from Amsterdam 2 hours by  train and it’s 40 km to Belgium border 140 km to  

Amsterdam and to ANP actually it’s 20 km away from  Belgium border but 40 km to an city of Belgium so   we are more close to Belgium than Amsterdam uh  it takes about 2 hours to come here the city has  

History more than 800 years uh according to the  records but because of a big fire in 14 Century   the old the whole city records were burned down  so the old this documents refers to this city uh  

It’s from 13th century this is one of the city  Gates the only one remained uh among the four   City gates in the past past so it was a fortified  City I will talk more about later hello everybody

Things about Carnival there’s a big carnival in  the Netherlands especially next weekend there will   be parades all over the north bravant province of  the Netherlands also the south of the Netherlands   in Belgium and France and some other places but  next Saturday probably we will be in soken boss

Here like 3 hours ago it was quite  windy and I wore my polar again warm   thing because it was pretty cold but  now it’s good also we saw a little bit Sun almost in all stores you can see some  figures related to Carnival Carnival par are next

Weekend if you’re curious about how Carnival  is celebrated in the Netherlands it’s crazy   and you can check my previous video  videos from the last years uh for the   last uh 2 years I I’ve been to anopen and  master cities to cover the parades and the parties those are all because of the

Carnival to be honest the city Centrum  is not really crowded it’s quite but   one of the locals told me that after  7:00 it’s much busier and after 9:00   all the bars are pretty crowded we’re  going to use this alley to cross other

Centum again and we will see the oldest  church from The 14th Century uh in the C and also around that corner that is the  oldest hotel of the Netherlands it’s from uh 1397 I think there should be a band there  at the moment hopefully we will catch them  

And we will uh lift into some some nice  live music carnival music I mean the Palm   zom salom or zom I don’t know there are many  Boutique shops around first unique places uh   I tried some the first thing I do I did  here uh found the good coffee place and  

I got some Espress and uh V60 coffee a nice  one so I have already a favorite coffee place here so that’s the main Square it’s cor marked if  you’re watching my videos regularly you know that   already that uh in every city almost there’s  a market the great market area usually the  

Local markets are placed there and that’s the  pepper boost in distance the tower you can see   there is a decoration on the even on the church  Tower there’s a smiley face over there and next   weekend on Saturday I believe during the parade  there will be more decorations on the top of the

There was a big fire in the city almost the whole  city was burned down only two buildings remained   this is one of them the Dr and olant building I’m  not sure which one is that probably that one olant  

And the drug building were the only survived two  buildings in the [Music] city it was renovated   and since then it’s a hotel look at the beauty of  this building and there are also Carnival [Music] [Music] decorations I think this  the symbol of the city coat of

Know the public transport ation is a bit  expensive in the Netherlands and that’s   why it’s not it’s not a tourist destination  if you are visiting Amsterdam it’s not easy   to come here first of all you have to spend 4  hours for a run trip and the second thing you  

Have to pay more than 50 just for public  transportation so that’s why I’m here you   don’t have to come here I’m traveling around  the CI is for you you don’t have to bother   yourself for the ticket prizes or the trip  times I will get a be chair from somewhere

Explore uh should I go into the street  let me see let’s walk through we have time slowly I will walk towards the  terain station yes Carnival is here   in the town I mean next weekend is the  biggest celebration but the it already

Continue uh forward if you’re coming from  the damsteram if you continue to your way   to fite the next stop is Middlebrook after  here if you check on the map where it is   located it’s just before the interesting  geographical area camet or something like in almost every building there’s a name either it

A good choice to come here uh that outside areas  there are a lot of beautiful Terraces in front of   the bars and also there’s a beach just like 20  minutes from here I guess there are more things  

To explore around but not in the city Centrum  so I don’t go there I’m showing only the city Centrum another crap logo on  the top of the door The Music Store next Saturday probably will be uh  dush or anen I haven’t decided yet but  

Sunday definitely we will be in MRI  because the biggest parade is there   and I like that City and the parade  to be honest so that’s why for the   third time I will be there and I will  cover all the parade like for 3 hours

Probably all right garbage  time okay was displ the snack   bar chicken H cafeteria the stores are already closed only the scare is alive after now now  the other streets for example this street   goes to the T Station it’s quite empty we can  say there’s a beautiful restaurant here the

Atos HMA or H Anders the glasses  store and SPC favers is over there   another glasses store and also V fashion  it’s also everywhere in the Netherlands Netherlands and this one cosmetic and  perfer II Paris everywhere you can find  

It Odo Formerly Known T-Mobile the new name is  odito it’s also my company my mobile package company but I think uh T-mobile sold all  the services to that Holland Barrett there   are some more typical stores over there  rituals and heo is on the street I think  

What else uh Crow F over there Holland  bar is the drugstore like Pharmacy but for the pills without prescription so it seems the stores are  closed earlier than Amsterdam here for   example this one it was open BOS my  shop when I arrived now it’s closed

Also we are going to melo’s favorite  place the train station is just on   the next Corner a few minutes later we  will see the train station it’s a small   very small one it reminded me the train  station in falconberg it was also small  

And it’s a new modern station again we  have lgbtq plus friendly pedestrian Road here uh bike Lanes bike Lanes reach  everywhere in the Netherlands even in   the small smallest Villages you  can see bike Lanes here is the same this is not a small village but  also in the south of the Netherlands  

As you see there’s a decent bike  lane separated from the car vehicle rod by the way one interesting information about  Bon of zom it’s known as a fa City there are   many faes in the past in the city and if I  remember correct it is the birthplace of dry  

Orus dry orus you you may remember that it’s a  mobile music track and it was founded here if I   remember correct probably it’s correct when I say  if I remember correct probably it’s correct by the way okay Hotel Old Dutch is over there with a  lot of Carnival decorations it’s a World hotel  

It seems we we see German Spanish French  and other Flags uh what is that ital Italy flag and here is a train station station NS  train station is a modern one there’s nothing   historical about this building it’s totally  new and there are some useful stores inside  

There’s a kiosk there’s a toilet and some other  stores that you can see next the station there’s   a cafe bar restaurant if you are in hurry if  you cannot wait until to the C Centrum there   are more better places but uh it’s convenient  there’s also fries place so before getting into  

The train hopefully I will get the coffee  from there and water and I will continue   there’s another one here there’s another kosk uh  snack bar also and it’s open gate train station so I mean if you you you can get into the train  without check in There’s Nothing Stops you of  

Course you can get caught in the train and then  you can pay like 100 something I don’t know the   exact fine anyways I will check the train time and  I will get my coffee the house CER let’s get the
