Dirty part of the city but we will not go into the  dangerous areas only we will take a look around   I mean after the street this is D Rock behind of  those buildings there is another streets called uh  

N d n d is also probably one of the oldest streets  of Amsterdam another one is here varos rad we will   go to this part and this is the Bing Corp the  department store pretty luxury items it’s a

Another city or town this is Warr and probably  the second oldest street of Amsterdam and on   this way there’s a half circle it’s called zik  it’s another Street between W and zik that two   streets that area is considered uh the oldest  part of the state is called D and also since  

The 15 Century there is a woman Community uh  work in that area for the for providing some   services to the sailors in the past nowadays for  for mostly tourists that’s the most polite way   that I can describe this uh hard workers we’re  going to go into this area like a few years ago  

Until a few years ago that woman Community partly  they were working in that area also not any longer   because this area is changed slowly the Amsterdam  municipality closed already more than 100 of that   windows that uh Woman’s Work and this part of  the city is uh clean now about that kind of

Traits so nowadays normally until a few years  ago if you were walking around this area this   street for example there were Windows both left  and right side also on the left side and this   corner there was also window there so in that  window behind of the windows you you will see  

Some womans uh touching the glass and call the  customers but see there’s a Boutique here now jean shop like here it’s still under  renovation this was one of that Windows actually and here you can see the old church

Tower normally this spot was the main area of  the Red Zone the woman Community Center let’s   say and this window model were in place since  1930s nowadays they’re empty they’re empty   since the pandemic times during that time they  couldn’t work and after that after that they  

Were renovated I think amam municipality  bought those windows and rented to some   entreprene CRS like like you see here Cream  Vintage fashion another Fashion Store some items and still under renovation by the way  still there are many things are refurbishing  

In this area and new stores are opened  every time I walk around here I see another Stu we’re going to go back and take  a look to the old church area also   there are some other changes in that  corner as well let me show you here

Coming to the city because be before  building North can North Sea canal and   the Central Station this area was the  port of Amsterdam since the 14th 15th century so you know like any any  other country in the world whever   Sailors arrive there is a woman  Community who provides services to

Sailors so at least since the 15th century there  was a woman Community working around this area   underground or overround those are the new stores  also so new entrepreneurs and the coffee lunchroom   it was not there before this this small Street  Narrow Street on the left for example this is  

The Narrow Street of this District we’re going  to walk through and that side the that lapon   business is still there as I see but uh the  windows are not any longer here also the same once upon a time it was really crowded here  when you walk through here it it it wasn’t  

Easy because it’s narrow and the both sides  there were Windows not anymore I you see   you can see still the red curtain here and  there’s a workshop Place photo shoots tours Etc so all were closed especially this part of the the street it’s quite

Narrow only two normal siiz  person can walk through together here The graft this it’s empty you can walk through it if you want they were they were looking inside  but they couldn’t decide whether they   are allowed to enter or not so I have  them so we are back to the same Canal

Area this old church is from the 13th  century this is the oldest surviving   building in the city and in the 13th century  when it was built the first time it was a   small wooden Chapel then it expanded it  became this gorgeous great Dutch goic

Church some not some a lot of important  person in the Netherlands history they   were buried here one of them probably the most  important one is the first wife of rembrand uh   saskia rbr’s first wife she was buried here  and also one in interesting thing that I read  

Recently the only black person buried here  there’s only one black person who was buried here he was son of an important person a mayor  probably and I’m in that times so far but still   they are revealing some new things about that a  few years ago for example they founded document  

Hidden somewhere an important document from  centuries ago on the top of the sailing area   in a hidden box they found something but so  still they are searching uh archaeologist   and and other related persons they are still  looking for the new things I mean new hidden

Things anyways that side this side is  Central Station area and that part is   currently where you can find the woman  Community workers hard workers are there   also the other side of church  that side there are still some windows here you can see a little sculpture  showing the that you are in the red

Zone and the old church is open to public  you can visit by a small Museum fee sometimes   there are special exhibitions as  well you can also take a guide tour there is a little beautiful Cafe  here at the Cor corner of the old church

Or two left but all others they were transformed  into stores or coffee places restaurant like that   one for example it’s like a famili shops I think  so Aman municipality the city management support   to clean up this area removing them slowly also  the other part the main part where you can find  

The famous theater and many other things there’s  a plan to move that area to south of Amsterdam   so there is a designated complex uh where  woman workers will be there in the future   that that’s the plan and the mayor current  amam mayor approved and offered that plan I  

Think it’s still under review but probably  it’s going to be real soon in a few years maybe that that whole area the woman  I think they will be moving to the South the Reon they think because the people live in  this area uh according to the Articles I read Al  

According to the municipality they’re not happy to  live in this area with that kind of uh workers or   Nuance a lot of tourists day and night walking  around that streets just because of that red atmosphere so people people actually live  there even in the window area the main
